Each state has reserved seats for children of freedom fighters under defence quota. In order to take advantages of this quota you can apply for your respective state of domicile. Or you can apply via kendriya sainik board for admission in college of your choice. Regarding marks each year it changes, a rank under30k can easily get you a seat.
