IIT Madras has released the gate cut off for admission in IITs and NITs. Electronics and communications branch qualifying cut off is GEN -26.7, SC - 24, ST - 17.8. Check the cut offs here:-

Your rank based on the 189 score in GITAM entrance test would be between 500-1000. No you may not get Electronics and Communication branch but you may avail fee concession from the college. The fee concession is as follows:- For rank 1-10:- 100% , 11-100:- 75% , 101-500:- 50% , 501-2000:- 25%.I hope you get it
