hello! what is the safe score to get a safe rank of gen-ews to get into top 5 nits (any Branch) or I'm from warangal ( home state) soo any benifits to get nit warangal ?
Hello Aspirant,
As you belongs to Telangana (Warangal) so you will definitely have benefit of Home state quota and well as for EWS quota for NIT Warangal. Your chances of getting allotment in it would be higher as compared to that of other state candidate.
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing EWS rank was 7298 for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branch in NIT Warangal under Home state quota for EWS category.
Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main 2021 score at least 130 marks or more out of 300.
Now as you belongs to Telangana so for other NITs than NIT Warangal you will have to go with other state quota and therefore you will only be eligible for EWS quota and for top 5 NITs like NIT Trichy, Delhi, Surathakal, Allahabad and Jaipur you should at least try for 170 or more marks in JEE-Main 2022 out of 300 marks.
