Hi I am a General Category boy. I want to know the probability of a general boy of getting admission in IIT and also with rank that must be scored because of Reservation, I am losing my hope Please also tell me rank, I am from Punjab

Hey there,
To obtain admission at IITs, you must first qualify JEE Mains and then clear JEE Advanced. For a general category male, considering cutoff at IIT Ropar since you are from Punjab, you will need to obtain a minimum rank of 2000 for CSE and around 8600 for Mech. Which is roughly around 190-200 marks and above in JEE Advanced for having a chance for admission in IITs
