Hi There! I have secured 43 marks in ME GATE. What are my chances to get admission for masters in NIT?

The chances are not that great if in general category. But still it is a situation of hit and miss. i hope this helps but the score is not that good. all the best.

I belong to OBC category. How does that make a difference?Also, I secured 460 last year out of 1000.

Hello Prasad,
It is not possible to get into NIT masters program with such low marks.Even the lowest cut off last year Mechanical Engineer course was 452 marks.If we go by last year cut off, it is not possible to get into NIT with 43 marks.Try for another college or attempt next year again.
