hi,i am completed diploma in EEE and i thought to join in the civil department in engineering .Is my decision is write or wrong. Plse! tell and In future there is a good scope for civil?

See if you feel that Civil is an interesting subject for you then you can go for it. But practically speaking, in the Civil there are not much of core jobs as a result most of the civil engineering graduates have to work in the field of IT and other non core fields which is true for most of the core fields. So you should be keen about the process and you should be ready to take admission to the course keeping in mind that you need to learn coding and stuffs apart from your curriculum to have a good perspective.

For Government examinations there are quite a good number of post available for the trade of civil in different examinations such as Indian Engineering Service, BARC, ISRO, CPwD etc.
