After your JEE Main result, you need to register and do choice filling through JoSAA for participating in the admission procedure of the participating institutes of JEE Main - NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Click on this link to know complete procedure of JoSAA registration and choice filling

For some seats at other institutes like Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), you need to apply for JAC Delhi counselling/admission process.

Some other private institutes/universities like Sastra University, Thapar University, Amity University, Bhatiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Jadhavpur University, etc. also offer B.Tech admissions based on candidates JEE Main score. For admission to these universities/institutes also, you need to apply for admissions at the respective institutes separately.

Once you appear for the JEE MAIN entrance, later you will have to register for counselling. You will have to do online choice filling. Then there is seat allotment process. Once you accept the seat, you have to report the counseling centre and complete the formalities.
