(i) Indian students - Based on AIR in JEE-Main through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority)
(ii) NRI/PIO/ SFFS Based on marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12 / equivalent qualifying examination.

No you cannot take admission in BIT Ranchi according to your BITSAT score because counselling of BIT Ranchi is done through JOSSA which is based on your JEE Mains Rank.If a person has given BITSAT he can only apply in BITS Pilani,Goa,Hyderabad according to his BITSAT score.
