If you are referring to Indian Institute of Information Technology, you need to appear for JEE Main, ace it with a great score and rank and secure you seat through JOSAA Counselling Procedure at one of the IIITs (Institutes of National Importance at par with NITs, IITs and GFTIs).

However there are some other Institutes also know as IIITs and are competitely very good, some of them having excellent placements like IIIT Delhi, IIIT Hyderabad and Bangalore as well ad I2IT Pune. These Institutes have different Modes of Entry. For Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, JEE Main is the mode, however 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Students and Counselling is conducted with DTU and NSUT Delhi (Delhi State Counselling).
