Hi,
If you are taking a drop and not appearing for improvement examination of any subject then the top 20 percentile will be evaluated as per 2020. however if you appear in improvement examination of even one subject, then top 20 percentile of 2021 will be considered. And the rule is same for every board. So no need to worry if you are in top 20 percentile this year.
