As we know this was a tough year due to the pandemic COVID-19, it was difficult to conduct exam.
So the Centre announced that the candidates will now not require the mandatory 75% or top 20 percentile in class 12 this year for admission to NITs and other CFTIs

Dear Aspirant top 20 percentile for iit/nit means percentile in board exams(10+2 / 12th std) should more than 80 percentile. But better is to try 75+ percentage. But if your percentile in board exam is more than 80 percentile than also you are eligible for nit/iit.
