- They take exam lightly because there is no negative marking.
- Secondly they will not revise well before the exam due to overconfidence.
- Third and the most important, before the exam they will not go through the topics throughly which they have to suffer afterwards.

Since, VIT will not disclose the subject wise cuttoff because it may vary from year to year and it will be hard to predict this cuttoff.
