The Central Government has recently introduced 10% reservation quota for the Economically Weaker Section among General Category candidates in government jobs and educational institutions. However, many are unsure about theEWS Reservation Eligibility.
If you are a deserving candidate from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), truly wish you should not miss the EWS quota with respect to the seats in Government Jobs (like IAS, IPS etc) and Government institutes (like the IIMs and IITs).

- Family income less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum.
