How many exams does one have to give for MBBS or BDS admissions in India?

Hello Kritika, you can get admission in most of colleges by cracking NEET exam. But if you want to join AIIMS and JIPMER college, you must crack their perticular exam.

NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims,and jipmer.The exam pattern is as follows:-

physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks

chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks

and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck

Hii Kritika, Currently u only have to write one exam ie NEET UG entrance exam inorder to get adimission to the mbbs and bds seats in almost all of India.But instituitions like AIIMS and JIPMER are conducting their own seperate xams, if u wish to join in that institutes.Hope this answrs ur query...

As of now, there are a total of three entrance exams you can appear for if you wish to pursue MBBS or BDS in India.

One must qualify the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Under Graduate) examination for admissions to almost all MBBS and FOR ALL BDS courses at medical and dental colleges approved by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India, both of which come under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Two autonomous institutions, AIIMS and JIPMER, established by separate Acts of Parliament, conduct their own independent entrance tests for MBBS admissions.
