How many rounds can I hold a seat on float in josaa councelling?

Here I am trying to explain the terms related to counselling in JOSAA.

Float- It helps you to get upgraded branch in every round of counselling.  Suppose if you get a seat in NIT-C for ECE which is at no 50 in your choice list. In second round of counselling you will get upgraded seat according to your choice list for example NIT-T ECE. Now, during second round your NIT-C ECE seat will be alloted to some other and you will be left with the upgraded seat.

SLIDE- Your college will get fixed, but branch upgradation will be done if possible.

freeze- You will not be eligible for further round and your seat will be confirmed what you got in during counselling.
