How many type of GATE-mechanical exam One or both?

All GATE papers will consist of two compulsory sections :-

1. Maths and General aptitude
2. English

Substantial amount of marks shall be carried by these sections , where English section is generally on easier side.
Maths section should be slightly difficult as per observed trends.
It is imperative to study from all quality materials  to have good hand over preparation.
Starting early gives you a competitive edge over others.
Solving more and more mock papers as well as sample papers will make you nearby perfect and help you score well.
Creating a small formula book is important for last minute revision.
