Do you have a specific college in mind or are you asking in general?
Because different colleges have different number of seats for general category students.
Or are you asking in the light of a professional career?
In general most colleges have almost 49% of its total seats in a particular course for the general category.
For example, if Hansraj College has a capacity of around 400 students in Bcom Hons course then almost 190 students will belong to general category.
