Dear Lipika,
If you wish to pursue engineering from Jadavpur university, then your
ranking in Joint Entrance will be considered first. Percentage of marks
obtained in Class 12 comes second. You will be called for counselling,
and if your rank secured is among the top ones, then you will be
placed/selected for Jadavpur university. It is the JEE(Main) rank that
will help you get through Jadavpur University. A candidate must secure
60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. That is the basic
eligibility criteria as far as marks in +2 level is concerned.
