lets compare both general and sc
First JEE mains qualifying
Safe percentile for qualifying jee mains for general category is about 85 and for sc is around 70
Secondly TOP NITS
To get into top 5 NITs a general candidate should have a percentile above 99 and for sc it comes around to be greater than 95 just to be on a safer side it might be less or more.
