Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test ( LPUNEST ) is conducted by Lovely Professional University (LPU) every year. It is a university level examination that held once in a year for admission of candidates to various courses available at the university.

LPUNEST is Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test which serves two purposes i.e. eligibility and scholarship.

a.For the courses which are floated after 10th LPUNEST is not mandatory, it is only written for scholarship

b.There are some courses after 12th ,after graduation and after post graduation where you have to appear in LPUNEST for eligibility and scholarship and few where you can drop the LPUNEST.

LPUNEST is an online exam (Fully MCQs) which is held once a year to admit candidates for the various programmes available in the university.

Dear Ganesh, recently my younger brother took admission in diploma program of LPU and he also filled LPUNEST. As per university official announcements, after getting admission, a student can get scholarship on his tuition fee by different options like LPUNEST or percentage in last qualification. Well LPU has three slabs for my brother's course---50%, 40% and 30% on semester fee. means if my brother's semester fee is say 40,000 Rs. and if he get slab of 50% by any option then his semester fee will be 20,000Rs. for whole semesters of his diploma course. i suggest you to visit university website for more precise information. LPUNEst exam is a scholarship test for all the courses and the cut off depends on the average of the score of the students who give exam for that particular course.So the scholarship slabs vary from year to year according to me.
