How to become a Primary school teacher??? after 12th for government job

To become a teacher in Government School, you have to appear for Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the respective state governments and to become a teacher in central government schools, you have to appear for Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Normally for Primary Schools, you should possess two years diploma in Elementary Education after Senior secondary i.e after 10+2 or Intermediate.

For Upper Primary Schools, you should possess B.Ed (or equivalent) after Graduation.

rivate Schools may recruit you with out B.Ed. You can pursue B.Ed in distance mode after you get two years of experience as a teacher in a recognized private school. Later you can appear for TET/CTET to get a Teacher post in Government Schools.
