How to fill ews category in AIQ counseling form in NEET 2019??
Hi Deepi.
The reservation for EWS will be applicable for NEET-UG 2019. The qualifying percentile for EWS category is 50 percentile and hence there is no need to provide separate merit list for EWS category. The candidates of EWS category may indicate their category at the time of registration for counseling. EWS quota will be provided against the increased seats in medical colleges.
The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of an "Income and Asset Certificate" issued by a Competent Authority (an officer not below the Tehsildar in the States/UTs).
The certificate shall be issued by district magistrate or any competent authority.
