Admission into medical schools in Canada just after Class 12th is usually difficult . One of the eligibilty criteria of admission into medical schools of USA and Canada is that candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in any subject, not necessary it should be science. Also, candidates who have studied in a college of USA or Canada for atleast one year are highly preferred. For some medical schools, the latter requirement is mandatory. Following graduation ( a course of minimum 3 years ), you need to sit for the MCAT. Following this, you will have to apply in various medical schools and wait for the interview call. Then based on your MCAT scores, academic and co-curricular records, volunteering experience and performance in interview, your selection is done.
