Hello raichur ,
For history in MA for JNU you need to prepare both the section properly as the two are :
- Comprehension section
- Question answer section.
For better prepreation you should go for ncert books whereas for a deep knowledge you can go for any of the referral book like Romila Thapar,bipin etc.

Jawaharlal Nehru University is the best when it comes to pursuing Masters in any discipline.
Getting through the Entrance Test takes lot of dedication and creative approach as it measures your knowledge but with hardwork and a smart strategy you can crack it.
Go through the previous years questio papers.The entrance test for MA History is divided into two parts: The first is comprehension section and other section has a list of 12-15 questions out of which you need to solve three. For comprehensive section,practice as much as possible as time plays the key role. For the second section questions vary from different topics.So one thing you must do is making sure you have studied all the papers of your graduation in depth.
