Hello mam,
The admission to various Medical courses have been made through an All India basis Test called the NEET. Most colleges in India except some like AIIMS, take admission through the NEET result. Admission is also taken on the basis of State Rank. The process is that after the announcement of the NEET result, on specified dates the state medical boards publishes the application form for admission to various colleges under that particular state government. Students successfully submitting these forms are included in the state rank list. Since the start of NEET from 2016 admission to colleges is taken through both the state rank as well as AIR in NEET, because most of the colleges have 50% seats reserved under state quota. So it doesn't matter from where you have done your MBBS, your admission to any University will be based on your NEET PG rank and if you want to study in Rajasthan, in that case your domicile certificate will be required for state rank and counselling.

Ma'am.. . Am i eligible for 50%state quota seats in GOVERNMENT COLLEGES of rajasthan ????? Becoz they have clearly mentioned this... in eligibility criteria. Candidates who have completed MBBS from an institute located in the state of Rajasthan are eligible for admission to 50% State quota seats in government colleges and 50% seats in private colleges.For 25% out of the above mentioned seats, preference will be given to candidates who possess the degree of MBBS from University of Rajasthan or Rajasthan University of Health Sciences.

It seems that the process of admission in Rajasthan is completely different, it wants students who have done MBBS from Rajasthan only while in others nativity was enough. In that case you have to work hard and compete with the 50% AIQ seats, if rules aren't changed in the next year.All the best.

Sir.... r we eligible with domocile only for pg seat????? I called directorate of rajasthan.... they said domocile has no role to play..... u should b a mbbs passout from here.. or join any of the state services like rural or urbsn PHC. WHAT TO DO SIR ????
