I am a graduate in b.com,can i pursue ma in English? What are career options in it and which du colleges are best to go for ma?

When I applied in 1988 kerala university has rejected it, saying that they have changed the rule from that academic year

Yes you definitely can. You can purse it!

Scope - It has big scopes but you have to decide in which way you want to go.

MA is an research field, so focus on core of writing & communications to be an author. Otherwise you you can be teacher, professor & you can also apply for government jobs. So there has big scope to explore yourself.

Theminimum eligibility criterion requiredfor the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with aminimumaggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests.
There is lots of scope in ma english you will become college professor, school teacher, content writer , creative writer, English translator English etc
Upon successful completion of Master of Arts in English, postgraduates may opt for Lecturership (Exams for lectureship:UGC-NET, all the State- level qualifying exams), Research in the discipline, Ph. D / M. Phil in the subject and Journalism.

To admission in DU College u have to score more than 85% in BCOM.
else u can get admission in Mumbai University.
