I am a mpc student passed in the year 2025. i wrote my jee in 2025 and currently studying in IIITH. But i realised that this stream is not at intereting to me and i have no passion. Is it possible to shift to BiPC now, prepare for NEET 2026 with a crash course in biology? Do i need any other qualifications? I heard that we cant appear in NEET if we dont have a qualification in biology. How can i get that qualification in the least time possible?(for your information, i just completed by first semester and want to take the decision quickly)

Yes, it is possible, but there are clear rules.

You cannot write NEET unless you have Biology (Botany and Zoology) in Class 12 .
With only MPC, you are not eligible .

Qualification :

You must pass Class 12 Biology from a recognized board .
Physics and Chemistry are already valid for you.

To get Biology Qualification :

The least time option is:

• Register for Class 12 Biology as an additional subject

• Through NIOS or any recognised open board

• Write the exam in 2026

You can prepare for NEET but it will be very tough. You must study Class 11 and 12 Biology from zero, and to do so, you should join a Biology crash course immediately.

So, if you are fully sure about medicine, you can proceed.
Otherwise, NEET 2027 will be a safer option with better preparation.
