Before you apply for a particular course in Journalism, it is important for you to know that DU offers a variety of courses in Mass Communication. For Bachelors the University offers BA Hons. in Journalism and Mass Communication, BA Hons. in Multimedia and Mass Communication and BA Hons. in Hindi Journalism and Mass Communication.
In order to apply for a course in Mass Communication in DU, you will have to apply online. Before you apply online, make sure that you know that which course you want to apply for, this will save a lot of your time. The merit list for BJMC is prepared on the basis of 10+2 marks of a candidate.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women
Kamla Nehru College
Kalindi College
Maharaja Agrasen College
Delhi College of Arts and Commerce
Bharti College
There is also the Delhi School of Journalism which offers a Five-Year integrated programme in Journalism in English and in Hindi. There is an exit option for the student after three years, wherein the student will be awarded a degree of Bachelors in Journalism (BJ). If the student completes the five years, then he/she will be awarded the Degree of Masters in Journalism (MJ).
Eligibility Criteria for DSJ: Irrespective of your stream, you will have to score a minimum of 50% marks in your 10+2 in order to be eligible for DSJ entrance exam.
Important Dates
Online Registration starts from - May 15th, 2018
Last date to complete the registration – June 7th, 2018
First cut off the list – June 19th, 2018
Last Cut off list – July 12th, 2018
Classes Commence on – July 20th, 2018
For Delhi School of Journalism, you will have to sit for the DU DSJ entrance exam which will take place on June 19th, 2018 and the classes will commence from June 3rd week.
