I am a TN state board student. Is any questions will come from samacheer textbooks for NEET?

As per the NEET brochure, the recommended textbooks are those prescribed by NCERT. I recommend that you study from this material as the exam questions are based on the concepts and principles mentioned in the NCERT textbooks.

NEET 2017 has generated a huge controversy in Tamil Nadu with many medical aspirants claiming the NEET syllabus is more favourable to CBSE students and not the State Board students.
For students following the Tamil Nadu State Board (Samacheer Kalvi), the only advantage that NEET provides is that question paper can be attempted in Tamil. Numerous students who appeared for NEET after preparing only from Samacheer textbooks found the exam very tough. While a number of topics in the NEET syllabus are covered in Samacheer Kalvi, it is only in a shallow manner and answering them requires in-depth understanding of the concepts.
Students from Tamil Nadu state board should prepare for NEET primarily with the help of NCERT text books and other popular guide books and not Samacheer books. Hope this helps!
