I am bsc student with statistics background.Am i eligible to write gate entrance exam.if i am eligible what books i refer?

Dear Suresh,
You have to a four-year degree to be eligible to appear for GATE. If you have a three year B.SC degree then you will not be abble to appear for GATE exam. To know the eligibility criteria, you can check the link that is given below.

It would be nice if you could tell me in which paper would you be appearing, then only I would be able to tell you the books which you can refer to.
