i am from Maharashtra for taking admission in Maharashtra i would have to go through the state counsiling so during that which rank is considered in neet UG exam AIR or category rank ?

During counselling process of any state, firstly registration occurs. And based the data received, new merit list is prepared for state quota counselling which have new state merit rank and new category rank. When colleges are being provided both the merit list rank and category rank are considered. Because seats are according to the reservation percentage of particular category.
