There are not much institutes in Chennai which offer astrophysics at bachelor's level but IIT Madras does offer this course in Chennai.
Following are some institutes which also offer this course in India:-
- Indian institute of science, Bangalore
- IISER, pune
- IIST, Trivandum
- Osmania university, Hyderabad
- Andhra university, vishakhapatnam
- Punjabi university, punjab
