i am interested in btech biotechnology ,but my elders are saying that there is no scope in that ! i am confused ,rather than biotechnology, b pharmacy and bsc agricultural has better future? i got 55120rank in ts eamcet. and i have SC reservation. plz help me

IT jobs
Drug and pharmaceutical research
Public funding
Environment control
Bio-processing industries
Biotechnologist
Private jobs ; You can apply for companies like Dabur, Hindustan lever, Cipla, Rossari biotech india Pvt. Ltd and Hindustan antibiotics.
Bsc agriculture
Recruitment wise Ag is better. UPPSC advertises for Bsc Ag passouts throughout the year. Btech biotech will bring you no govt. job.
Like IT and pharma, Ag has its niche market which is well established isolated and broad. Sales opportunity in Ag sector is better
To sum up, if one wants to do research to discover something new then biotech is better but for that Btech/ Mtech won't suffice, PhD is the way. For employability Ag is better.
