I am of 20yo and including reneet this will be my 4th attempt.. my marks is nit exceeding above 300 bcz I wasted past 2 yrs in distraction but now I don't want to do the same thing. Will it be ok if I take another drop for mbbs and bds as back up?
Hi,
Taking another drop is a personal decision and should depend on your confidence, preparation level, and willingness to stay committed for one more year. Since you have identified the reasons behind your previous performance and are ready to avoid those distractions, a focused attempt can lead to significant improvement.
However, it is advisable to keep backup options ready. Applying for BDS and other allied health science courses along with MBBS can provide you with alternatives if the NEET result does not go as expected.
Before taking another drop, honestly assess:
-
Your current preparation level
Your mock test scores and improvement trend
Your ability to stay consistent for the next year
If you are fully committed and seeing progress in your preparation, another attempt can be considered. At the same time, keeping backup options is a practical approach.
All the best.
