I am planning to study medical mbbs.But at the same time , i want to know what are the options available for me ,like directly based on my boards result which is 95% . I have a keen interest in the research field , especially that related to the brain . So what are the options available both in India and Abroad .

With 95% in boards and interest in brain research, you have good options apart from MBBS too.

If you want to become a doctor:
• MBBS → Neurology / Psychiatry later

If you are more interested in research and neuroscience:
• B.Sc Neuroscience
• Biotechnology
• Cognitive Science
• Psychology + Neuroscience
• Biomedical Engineering
• IISER BS-MS programs (very good for research)

Best research-focused institutes in India:
• IISERs
• IISc Bangalore
• Ashoka University

Abroad, countries like USA, UK, Canada, Germany, and Netherlands are very good for Neuroscience and brain research.

If you like treating patients → MBBS is better.
If you like labs, research, brain science, and innovation → research-oriented courses may suit you more.
