I belong to a middle class general family,I want to go in medical line .Is NEET compulsory for it,and what would be the cut off for it??

Yes,it is necessary to appear in NEET exam,if you want to become a doctor except AIIMS and JIPMER as they conduct their own entrance exam.As cut-off marks vary year to year depending upon number of students appear in the exam and the difficulty level of the exam so if you belong to general category and if you are applying under 85% state quota seats then you should score above 500 marks and if you are applying under 15% all India quota seats then you should score above 560 marks to secure a seat in government medical College.i hope this information helps you.
