The score of jee mains is accepted for admission in NITs,IIITs, CFTIs and other government and private colleges. Admission in IITs are done on the basis of jee advanced rank irrespective of your jee mains performance.
So, you need to get better rank in jee advanced in order to get admission in IITs. Or you can get NITs on basis of jee mains rank
