Also, you can go for newer nits like

NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Sikkim, NIT Meghalaya with branches: Civil, EEE, Chemical or Biotech.

Your chances for IIITs are likely but for IIT it's quite difficult.

What you can do is keeping eyes on the counselling sessions like JoSAA & CGPET.
