Dear Damodar, You havent mentioned your Category. Neverhless, in 2018 under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories for MBBS have been as follows:

General Category: 473
SC: 372
ST:230
SE: 120

For BDS:

General Category: 352
SC: 222
ST: 97
SE:  246

So with 440 marks, you can get a Government Medical College if you belong to Reserved Categories. But if you want to opt for BDS, you easily can get a seat in Government Dental College, Ahmedabad. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats availble, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
