I got 486 rank in Punjab in open merit can i get govt seat in punjab

As you have told you have got 486 rank but it would have been better if you would have shared your all India rank and the marks that you have obtained because that is easier for us to tell if you are eligible for government medical seat or not . So looking at the last year's cut off its difficult to get admission for a general category student to get admission at marks less than 570. If you have marks above than this th n there are chances that guy get admission in any government medical college.

I am sorry to tell you dear but you will not get a seat in government medical college,  not even under state quota according to past year trends.
For example, last year lowest marks that fetched a seat under state quota for general category was 518 and it was for Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot.
I suggest you to prepare again for neet and clear it next year with flying colours and fulfil your dream of becoming a doctor.
