You have a score good enough. But you won't be able to apply under the all india quota seats. AIQ seats are just 15%, so the competition is damn difficult. Due to this, one needs to score over 620 to get a college of his choice anywhere in India. Hence, with 487 you can go for the state quota seeking admission in colleges of your domicile.
