I got 551 marks in neet 2019 with a rank of 24000 Gen cat from Rajasthan should I try for all India counselling or state counselling

Dear Anjali, in 2018, under State Quota, 530 marks secured a seat in PDU Medical College under General Category. Wiyh 551 marks you also have a chance at Rajamata Vijaya Raje Scindia Medical College. Now that is about State Quota. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Regarding All India Quota, you have a decent chance at a seat under All India Quota. You can also check previous patterns of last years with your marks. For this, please log on to the website and go to Medical Counselling. Open Under Graduate and open the composite allotment list.This will give you an indicative information like Opening and Closing rank course and Category wise. As per your question i do understand the situation.
Yes, you should apply for state and/ or AIQ's counselling.
The decision depends upon the difficulty level, number of studenrs qualified, number of seats in a partivlcular college or university.
According to the previous years pattern a student has more chances of getting a college through All India Quota.
However, counselling does not ensures to give you a college.
