You are certainly eligible to apply for and attempt JEE Main 2017 examination. However, for admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, the candidates should have secured 75% marks.
You can attempt JEE Main 2018 examination for some state admissions and SFTIs, where the cutoff marks for admissions is comparatively lesser.
