I got 76 percentile in JEE MAINS in General category. Am I eligible to keep Web options for NIT counselling ?

Hello,
According to your percentile, you have not qualified jee main as the general category student's cutoff was around 89.
As the nit counselling is done through josaa and if you are not qualified , then you can't take part in josaa counselling.

But, my friend got 49 percentile in jee in EWS category. He kept Web options. How is this possible?

Brother as u had not mentioned the category, if you do not mention your category then you will be considered as general only.The cutoff for general ews is different from general.
Sir, for General(EWS) cut off is 74 percentile.
