To get direct admission in LPU with JEE  mains you require minimum 80 percentile in it along with the eligibility criteria of your last qualification. However, if it is not so then you will have to give LPUNEST for eligibility and scholarship purpose as well. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programs and for scholarship for most of the programmes.

First thing is that the admission procedure in LPU is not based in the JEE mains marks.LPU conducts separate examination for the entrance which is called LPUNEST.So it really doesn't make a difference if you have scored any percentage in the JEE mains.First thing is that as your JEE mains score is not good,you won't be getting into any of the good NITs or other private colleges if you belong to general category.So Better write the LPUNEST properly to get admission into LPU.
