I got 86.25% in 12th And 36/100 in du jat exam. Do I have any % of chance to get admission in du colleges for BMS, BBA (FIA), BA ( hons)
Hello there,
Yes, you do have a fair chance of getting accepted in DU but getting accepted in University like DU depends on various other factors besides your merit. If you're a female some colleges offer a reduction of a few percentages. In case you belong to any special category, your seats will be reserved and cut-offs will be decreased for you. You might make it into colleges such as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Shivaji College, Lakshmibai College, Mata Sundari College, etc. The subjects you wish to pursue also make a difference, because subjects like Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, etc have lower cut-offs than mathematics, English, Psychology, etc.
Hi Vipul,
Thanks for approaching us. As you must be aware that DU is going to conduct its first admission today, July 12, 2018. With your scores, the chances are meagre, however, you can wait until the 2nd and 3rd admission rounds as the university will be abiding by the process of Normalization this year onwards. So, do not lose hope, keep your fingers crossed!
Also note, First Admission List for JAT (BMS/BBA(FIA)/BBE) courses will be notified by 4 pm on July 12, 2018. The document verification and approval of admission by colleges will take place on 13th & 14th July 2018. Keep an eye on the admission process, so that you do not miss any related information.
