I got 97.6 mains 2020 I want to do C S which NIT or IIIT may I get (OBC)
Hello! Hope you are doing good
Congratulations on your result. You can get seats in some of the NITs.
You can apply in IIITs in guwahati, vadodara, lucknow, nagpur, pune, ranchi, bhubhaneshwar. In NITs
You still have a chance, utilise it well. Prepare accordingly and revise the concepts and you'll definitely come out with flying colors.
All the best
The admission to NIT depends on State quota too, You can calculate your rank in JEE MAIN by the following formula
(100-Percentile score)*869010/100 so your rank is 20856
and your rank would change if the Number of candidates in JEE Main April get increased to 1200000 the your rank would be calculated by
(100-Percentile score)1200000/100 so your rank is 28800
AT this rank it is tough to get CS in good NIT with OBC category too if you are not from Home state, in Home state quota depends upon your state you might get NIT.

HELLO NISHANK
Congratulations for your result and qualifying JEE mains.
since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup we have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.
So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be 20856. Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains.
WEll with this percentile you may get some good northeaster NITS or Low NITS with a very good branch.
It would be difficult to enter into top 5 NITS
No worries since you have an april attempt left and most importantly baap of the exams i,e Advance which may directly lead you into IIts . Just try to grab a percentile above 99.6+ so that top nITYS are in your favour .
But if you are curious to know that which college you might land into with your percentile then you can use the college predictor link which has following features;
