I got all india rank 13220 and all india ews rank 1260 so which nlu can I get into
With an All India Rank of around 13,220 and an EWS rank of approximately 1,260 in CLAT, getting admission into top or mid-tier NLUs is unlikely, as their EWS cut-offs generally close at much lower ranks. However, you still have fair chances in the newer and lower-ranked National Law Universities, especially in later rounds of counselling or vacancies.
Based on previous years’ closing ranks, you may consider the following NLUs under the EWS category:
• NLU Tripura (Tripura National Law University)
• NLU Meghalaya
• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat (only if cut-offs drop in later rounds)
• NLU Andhra Pradesh (chance mainly in spot or vacancy rounds)
• NLU Odisha (low probability, but can be kept in preference list)
You should fill your preference list with all lower and newer NLUs without skipping any option, as EWS seats sometimes remain vacant and ranks can slide significantly in subsequent counselling rounds. Also, keep an eye on vacancy notifications issued by individual NLUs after the central counselling rounds are over.
Additionally, you should explore good private law colleges such as Jindal Global Law School, Symbiosis Law Schools, Christ University, ICFAI Law Schools, and Alliance University, as these institutions offer quality legal education and strong exposure.
