Dear candidate..... hope you're doing good..
Well, the basic criteria for getting admission into any medical or dental colleges across India through NEET examination is given below:
Class XII is the basic qualifying exam, but the qualifying marks differ according to the candidates category. The following persons are eligible to give the exam:
Students who have passed the class XII qualifying exam.
Students who are appearing for the class XII qualifying exam.
Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as their subjects in Class XII.
All applicants must have obtained the necessary aggregate marks in the qualifying exam:
General Category- 50% marks in qualifying exam.
OBC/SC/ST Category- 40% marks in qualifying exam.
General- Physically Handicapped Category- 45% marks in qualifying exam.
OBC/SC/ST- Physically Handicapped Category- 40% marks in qualifying exam.
Since you've cleared the minimum cut off marks in 12th examination, so if you secure a descent rank in NEET, you may be eligible for getting admission.
Hope this helps you out....
Best of luck:)
