I Have 79% marks in cbse 12 but i wanr to give improvement in only maths and chem. Will I be eligible for jee after giving only 2 papers.

Yes, you are eligible for appearing in JEE after giving improvement in two cbse papers only and not need to give all papers.

Percentage in cbse exams is important just because NITs and IITs and many reputed institute have criteria for marks and percentage in 12th exam.

I know many students who missed admission in IITs inspite of having sufficient rank for admission in IITs.
